Our new EdIT tool makes it easy for a designated user to edit and update their website from any location, without the need of any software. 'EdIT for Business'
was designed to allow businesses to edit, maintain and manage their own website and content entirely online without the need to install software onto the users PC.
Once the design of the site has been created, the client is then able to create, edit and delete pages, they are able to upload images and files onto the website with the aim of allowing the
client to personalise their own website.
EdIT is a "New breed of Content Management System"' which enables you to update your own website from any PC, without the need to install software, all you need is an Internet Connection.
Using the FOLDER BROWSER, and EDITING TOOL, you are able to call upon a number of familiar functions to assist you in creating the perfect website for your school such as:
- CREATE and EDIT new or existing pages, effectively allowing your website to grow without the need for a web design company
- Fully MANAGE the top drop down NAVIGATION menu, which has up to 10 top level buttons and as many sub menus as your screen will allow
- UPLOAD files and images
- Physically RESIZE and ROTATE images (useful for those portrait angle photographs from your digital camera), not just visually, but physically
- INSERT and FORMAT text and images on a page
- COPY and PASTE content from most popular packages (e.g. Word, Excel, and Publisher)
- Once you click SAVE, the site is immediately available on the Web
- INSERT Tables and EDIT Table Attributes
- CREATE and DELETE new directories on the server to aid in file management without FTP
- NAVIGATE through folders easily
- NAVIGATE through folders easily
- Secure CALENDAR to allow you to add and share key dates with visitors to your website

- A choice of Homepage navigation buttons that are specific to your businesses requirements, including pull down menus for sub section pages

When you decide to sign up then we would need you to complete a simple questionnaire and send it to us together with the following items in a digital format:
Item required from you:
- Company logo (Ideally hi-res image, or document for scanning.)
- Several preferred photographs to be included within the design of the actual header section of your website.
- Any relevant content you want us to include on the site....such as About Us and Contact Details etc The Website process is as follows:
- Completion of the questionnaire
- Provide relevant content and imagery etc
- Choose a new preferred domain name, unless you already have one you which to reuse
- Have a discussion with our designers regarding the colour scheme and design preferences
- Initial design is submitted for approval
- Amendments made
- Final design is submitted for approval and sign off
- Site created and pages / page titles created as per questionnaire
- Training session booked
- Once training is completed a period of time is given before site is made live to give the business a chance to insert or edit any remaining content
